Kurt Milne joins PartnerAlliances as Managing Partner to lead Partner Enablement practice
Mr. Milne will be responsible for launching and managing the Partner Enablement practice at PartnerAlliances. Mr. Milne joins PartnerAlliances with over 15 years of enterprise software industry experience including a successful record of leading strategic alliance and alliance marketing teams and programs. Mr. Milne’s breadth of technology and channel alliance experience, at both start-up and fortune 500 technology companies as well as working through various mergers and acquisitions, provide a breadth of experience that will help drive the new Partner Enablement practice. This practice will be focused on helping PartnerAlliance clients achieve expected results of both existing and new alliance relationships.
Mr. Milne was most recently with BMC Software, where he led strategic marketing functions for the company. His team’s management of relationships with industry groups and industry luminaries, as well as thought leadership related marketing initiatives have helped the IT Service Management business unit become the primary revenue growth engine for BMC Software.
Mr. Milne has held various marketing management, alliance management, and sales and engineering positions at other leading technology companies such as Hewlett Packard, Remedy Corporation, Peregrine Systems, Extricity, and Camstar Systems. His main areas of enterprise software expertise include IT operations tools, inventory and supply chain management, and computer integrated manufacturing.
His work as Director of Alliance Marketing at Extricity Software helped build global channel revenue from $2M to $16M in revenue. In his role as Director of Alliance Marketing at Peregrine Systems, Kurt helped manage the successful global launch of a strategic relationship with IBM that was responsible for a significant portion of Peregrine’s revenue.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with a second major in Social Science from Colorado State University, and an Executive MBA from Pepperdine University.
