About Lucere Technologies
Lucere's initial product offerings will launch a new era in optical reading technology. Current technology is based on the 125-year old paradigm of Edison's phonograph. Information, music, video, etc. is read by traversing a pickup head along the radius of the disk to the track where the information is found. The data is then accessed serially while the disk spins as the pickup head follows the spiral track.
Lucere's product portfolio consists of a family of products based on proprietary, patent pending technology which we refer to as "ZeroSeek Technology." The family of ZeroSeek drives uses Lucere's "ZeroSeek Head" to create optical drives of increasing sophistication and complexity. The ZeroSeek drives are plug-compatible with existing optical readers but can exploit the ability of the Lucere ZeroSeek Head to read multiple tracks in parallel, which will greatly increase performance.
